'O sole mio là 1 bài hát rất nổi tiếng của Napoli thuộc miền nam nước Ý, được sáng tác vào năm 1898. Bài hát được trình bày bởi rất nhiều giọng ca opera nổi tiếng như: Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, thậm chí cả ban nhạc rock Me First and the Gimme Gimmes và ca sĩ nhạc pop Bryan Adams. 'O sole mio dịch ra có nghĩa là "mặt trời nhỏ của tôi". 

Năm 1949 , ca sĩ người Mỹ Tony Martin thu âm bản dịch bằng tiếng anh đầu tiên với tiêu đề "There's no tomorrow". 10 năm sau đó, khi đang đóng quân ở Đức trong US Army, Elvis Presley nghe bản nhạc này và quyết định thu âm riêng 1 bản dành cho anh. Với sự cộng tác của 2 nhà soạn nhạc Aaron Schroeder và Wally Gold cùng với bản demo của David Hill, "It's now or never" đã trở thành hit suốt những năm 60 trên cả US và UK, 9 tuần liền ở vị trí thứ 1 với 10 triệu bản tiêu thụ trên toàn thế giới, là single hit lớn nhất của Elvis. Với thành công đó, bài hát trở nên phổ biến và trở thành 1 phần của vẻ đẹp lãng mạn trong văn hóa Ý. Một câu chuyện nổi tiếng khác là tại Olympic 1920 tại Antwerp, Bỉ, khi người ta không tìm ra bản nhạc quốc ca của Ý, họ quyết định thay thế bằng bài hát này.
